We have missed you all.
We are back to library services in a limited and modified form. The good news is that you can place up to 10 holds and pick them up at either the Kings Beach or Tahoe City branches. You can also return the items you have been living with for 4 months!
Curbside delivery is available at:
- Tahoe City Branch on Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am-1pm.
- Kings Beach Library on Thursday and Friday from 10am-1pm.
How it works:
Park in a designated “Curbside Delivery” slot, call 546-2021 for Kings Beach or 583-3382 for Tahoe City, be sure to have your library card with you because we will ask for it, we will check your holds out to you, put them in a bag with your checkout receipt, and bring them to your (open) trunk or passenger window. You then close your trunk and drive off to enjoy your bounty of library items.
If you are on foot, come to the table outside the front of the library and follow the same procedure.
Book returns are Tuesday -Thursday from 10:00-3:00 and Fri. from 9:00-1:00 at both branches. The returns go in a modified book drop bin that we can then wheel inside and quarantine for 72 hours.
We are taking the safety of staff and patrons very seriously, and will wear protective gear and maintain 6 foot distancing at all time. The library facilities are NOT open. All library items are quarantined for 72 hours.
