North Tahoe Business Association is beyond excited about the upcoming holiday season. We invite our members, community, and visitors to participate in giving North Lake Tahoe an EXTRA HOLIDAY GLOW! Bring your festive spirit to our already magical community and get involved in one or both of our upcoming programs:

PART 1:

Adopt a street light pole to be lit year-round bringing cheerful illumination to the streets of downtown Kings Beach.

Let’s Light Up the Streets of Kings Beach! Support North Tahoe Business Association and our community by adopting a pole this holiday season. This program will help light up all 85 poles in downtown Kings Beach, keeping our town bright and festive for the holidays and all year round!

Feeling festive and eager to decorate? Use that holiday spirit and enter NTBA’s Holiday Lighting Contest. Business owners and individuals alike are encouraged to participate in this fun contest.

VOTE TODAY!

NTBA’s Let it Glow Holiday Lighting Contest is ready for the community’s VOTE. The post/entry with the most cumulative likes on both Facebook & Instagram, WINS our Community’s Choice Award! Voting ends TODAY, December 16 at 5pm. One residential + business winner will be announced on December 17, 2021.

ENTRY:

  • FREE for NTBA Members
  • $25 for non-member businesses
  • $10 for residents who want to be entered to win prizes 

CATEGORIES:

  • Most Merry Business Award (best holiday decor) | One FREE year of NTBA Premier Membership ($300 value)
    • One business winner, selected by Holiday Cheer Committee
  • The Clark Griswold Award (drumroll please…most lights/brightest) |  $100 Cash Prize
    • One residential + business winner, selected by the Holiday Cheer Committee
  • Martha May Whovier Award (best neighbor holiday decor) | $200 in Local Gift Cards 
    • ​One residential winner, selected by our Holiday Cheer Committee
  • “Community’s Choice” Award (voted via social media ) | $100 gift card to any NTBA member restaurant of your choice 
    • One residential + business winner, selected by community popular vote

All participants should be willing to share their home and/or business address (private residents will not have their names listed). Homes and businesses submitted for the competition will be collectively judged by our Holiday Cheer Committee on December 17, 2021. All entries must be received on or before December 10, 2021. Social media voting for Community Choice will take place from December 14-16, with the winner selected on December 17. All winners will be announced via social media and NTBA website/email.
