Shelter Operations Manager
(Full Time Salaried)
The Shelter Operations Manager (SOM) is responsible for managing our shelter population; taking into consideration the needs in our community, the available resources in our shelter and the humane treatment of animals under our care. This position works alongside our Director of Operations and Veterinary Medical team, and provides direct supervision of the Intake Department, Animal Care Attendants and Client Services team, to ensure smooth and efficient movement of animals from intake to adoption. This is a supervisory position with responsibility for management, staffing, scheduling, proactive planning and budgeting. There will be additional responsibilities that overlap with hospital operations.
Maintenance Technician
(Full Time)
To maintain all aspects of PNHS facilities and grounds. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures in addition to performing grounds maintenance. All work will be done in compliance with EPA, Hazmat, and OSHA safety rules and regulations, while keeping the premises safe and comfortable for the animals, the public, and the employees. The Maintenance Technician performs duties independently with minimal supervision, operating from specific and definite directions and instructions. Decisions are of a routine nature made within prescribed operating guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Client Service Representative
(Full Time)
The Client Service Representative works in all aspects of client service including greeting and assisting clients and guests, completing adoptions, scheduling appointments, handling financial transactions, and assisting throughout the shelter as needed.
Veterinary Assistant
The Veterinary Assistant is responsible for assisting veterinarians with the medical care of all animals sheltered at the Pet Network Humane Society including assisting with surgeries, exams, treatments and record keeping. The Veterinary Assistant performs these duties either independently with minimal supervision, operating from specific directions and instructions, or under the direct supervision of the Medical Director.
Licensed Veterinary Technician

Animal Care Attendant
(Part Time)
The Animal Care Attendant is responsible for providing humane care of the animals at Pet Network Humane Society, including feeding, cleaning and kennel maintenance, enrichment, exercise, and ensuring their health and safety. Animal Care Attendants (ACA) also assist customers with adoptions, interact with volunteers and help to maintain animal record.
