Cases reported now were likely infected weeks earlier and do not mean that social distancing is not working — on the contrary, it’s more important than ever to stay home.
As evidence increasingly indicates that COVID-19 can be spread by people who aren’t yet showing symptoms, Dr. Sisson also encourages you to cover your face with a bandana, scarf or homemade cloth covering when you must leave the house. Watch a video explaining the new recommendation.
