As I shared last week, our upcoming Spring Break is something we’ve been evaluating. After careful consideration and input from many of our staff members, we are canceling the Spring Break that was scheduled the week of April 13-17, 2020, and we will get out of school a week earlier in June! The last day of the 2019-2020 school year will now be June 12, 2020!
Our district’s plan and revised distance learning schedule:
–There will be no distance learning on Friday, April 10, 2020, or Monday, April 13, 2020. (Friday, April 10 will be an additional teacher planning and preparation day, without student instruction through distance learning.)
–Monday, April 13, 2020, will be a day off for all and there will be no distance learning for students.
–Distance learning will resume on Tuesday, April 14, 2020, and continue through May 1, 2020.
I will continue to communicate with you and our staff often and update you should anything change regarding COVID-19 and the Governor’s stay at home order.
Sincerely,
Robert J. Leri, Ed.D.
Superintendent Chief Learning Officer
