Wednesday March 22, is World Water Day. Fifth Element will once again bring Love in Action with Gr8-ful 4 H2O! In our continuing dedication to bringing clean sustainable water, we are going from last years fundraising event of Global Water (Charity Water) to this year’s event, of bringing it home with Dig Deep and the Navajo Water Project.
“On the Navajo Nation, 30% of families live without running water. 1 in 3 with out a sink or Toilets. They drive for miles to haul barrels of water to meet their basic needs. They carefully ration water for drinking, cooking, cleaning and bathing. But despite their struggle for water, these families still go to work, take their children to school and lead their communities.
Running water is transformational. We’re on a mission to get clean, hot and cold running water to more households, so families can stop hauling and start enjoying the simple miracle of a working tap.” – Dig Deep Navajo Water Project
