Community Wildfire Protection Plan | Public Stakeholder Meeting
We are pleased to invite you to the upcoming North Tahoe Public Stakeholder Meeting for the Lake Tahoe Basin Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, October 17th, 2023.
As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the safety and resilience of our community, we are actively updating the 2015 Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP). This update is essential in ensuring that our wildfire prevention and mitigation strategies are aligned with the specific needs and values of our community.
This meeting presents a valuable opportunity for stakeholders to actively contribute their input, questions, and concerns regarding the CWPP. The plan is a crucial document that outlines our community’s strategy for mitigating wildfire risks and strengthening our preparedness and response efforts.
