North Tahoe Arts Temporary Program Manager Job Description
North Tahoe Arts (NTA) is currently in need of a temporary Program Manager. This
temporary position will help implement NTA’s visual arts programing during the
summer of 2023 or until an Executive Director is hired.
Working closely with the Board of Directors, other employees and volunteers, the
temporary Program Manager will:
– Assess the current status of all programs planned for 2023.
– Develop an Exhibits calendar for 2023 that includes themed exhibits and
space rental exhibits (some are already identified but planning hasn’t
started). Plan and implement 2023 exhibits including promotion and
advertising, managing artist applications and coordinating the physical
setup/takedown of each exhibit.
– Develop a guest artist calendar for 2023 for Kings Beach (KB). Coordinate
guest artist experience including managing artist applications, coordinating
the physical setup/takedown of each guest artist space in the KB gallery.
– Develop and implement a plan to best utilize the workshop room in KB. This
includes workshops and rental of the space for other activities (birthday
parties, paint & sip, community activities etc.).
– Provide monthly written updates and attend Board Meetings.
– Provide support to other programs as necessary.
– Identify opportunities to expand our reach in the community.
Challenges and Qualifications
NTA is in a transitional period where the responsibilities typically handled by an
Executive Director will be performed by several people working together for the
ongoing success of NTA. Key qualifications for this position include:

– Program management experience
– Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills, including working effectively
with volunteers, artists and the Board of Directors
Wages and Hours:
This is a part time 20 hours/week. Pay is $28/hour.
