- Reno News & Review | Since 1995 (or even 1993, if you count the Nevada Weekly days), the RN&R has been Northern Nevada’s independent source for fearless local reporting and incisive cultural commentary. The pandemic almost killed the RN&R; they suspended their weekly print edition and laid off the entire staff in March 2020. However, in 2022, they’re making a comeback. Under new ownership and the leadership of Nevada Newspaper Hall of Famer Frank X. Mullen, they’ve launched a new, state-of-the-art website at RenoNR.com, and have brought back many familiar bylines. Over Memorial Day weekend 2022, we made our return to print as a monthly.
