Wildfires have a widespread impact, affecting communities across the state. When one area in California is hit, the ripple effects are felt everywhere.
In partnership with Truckee Town Council Member Courtney Henderson, the North Tahoe Chamber, TCDA, NTBA, and Placer County, we are organizing a relief drive to support those impacted by the devastating fires in Los Angeles. Now is the time for us to unite and demonstrate the strength of our community by coming together to support our fellow Californians in their time of need.
From Tuesday, January 14 to Tuesday, January 21, we are collecting essential supplies to assist wildfire victims. All donations will be delivered to the LA Dream Center on Wednesday, January 22.
The items most urgently needed include:
- Brand new socks, underwear, and bras
- Baby formula and diapers
- Toilet paper & paper towels
- Air purifiers
- Canned and non-perishable foods
- Large trash bags
- Safety goggles & gloves

Last day for drop-offs is Tuesday, January 21, by 1pm.
On January 22, the trucks will depart from North Tahoe and Truckee, loaded with supplies, symbolizing the collective strength and generosity of rural communities across California in supporting their urban counterparts during this time of need.
