NTBA offers 50% Matching Funds for Lighting of Kings Beach Commercial Building Roof Lines
A new program of North Tahoe Business Association and its Design Committee through North Lake Tahoe Tourism Master Plan grant funding is taking place this year! NTBA is delighted to announce that it was successful at receiving TOT funds through the North Lake Tahoe Tourism Master Plan Grant program, allowing NTBA to offer Kings Beach business and property owners 50% matching funds to light the roof lines of downtown Kings Beach commercial buildings.
The primary goals of the Roof Line Lighting Program are to make Kings Beach welcoming and inviting at night, with consistent roof line building lighting along Kings Beach commercial corridor, and replace old and non-efficient lights. The benefits of a consistent and well-lit downtown include improved community image and improved guest experience, which translates to increased sales and repeat customers as well as fostering community pride.
Cost including warm LED lights, professional installation, timers and photo cells will range from $62-$120 for small buildings, $122-$215 for medium buildings, $217-$407 for large buildings and $410-$713 for extra large buildings. Actual cost will be determined by the number of participating properties.
All business and property owners along Highway 28 in downtown Kings Beach are eligible for this one-time, first come, first served offer to leverage 50% matching funds.
Contact Ashley White to confirm participation by October 1, 2018.
