The award-winning, independent newspaper for Truckee/North Lake Tahoe, is seeking an editor/reporter to join our small newsroom. We are an independently owned, monthly print and online newspaper covering the news, culture, and pulse of this mountain community. We are looking for a team member with excellent writing skills, a passion for storytelling, a record of producing fair and balanced news, confidence, verve, a sense of humor, resilience, and respect. This position includes editing other writers, curating the opinion section, writing hard news and features, shorts and in-depth pieces following journalistic ethics and AP style guidelines. Supplementary Skills: Photography and videography experience. Approximately 30 hours/week, pay DOE.
