Position Available | Audit Staff (Tahoe City)
Job responsibilities include:
Audits of financial statements and financial statement reviews
- Establish working relationships with client personnel
- Perform analytical review of audit documents
- Review client accounting and operating procedures and systems of internal control
- Identify accounting and auditing issues; perform research to solve issues that arise
- Exhibit a professional, business-like demeanor
- Prepare financial statement reports and documentation
- Apply concepts of risk assessment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science/Business Administration, Accounting or related. Master of Science in Accounting preferred
- Must meet minimum requirements to sit for CPA exam before beginning full-time employment
- Strong academic credentials (Minimum GPA of 3.0)
- Relevant work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs)
- Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
- 1 year audit experience preferred, but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Approx. $58,000 – $67,000 per year (Pay DOE)

- Bookkeeping/Accounting experience

- Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels

Job responsibilities include:
Office and Accounting Administrator Responsibilities
- Assist accounting department in tasks such as data entry, accounts receivable and accounts payable for accounting clients.
- Assist audit department in scheduling, engagement letter preparation, client setup, and support.
Qualifications:
- Bookkeeping experience strongly encouraged
- Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Relevant work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs)
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
Job Type: Part time with ability to move to full time
