ENTRY & ELIGIBILITY
- ENTRY IS FREE!
- BUSINESSES: To be eligible for entry as a business for our Holiday Lighting contest you MUST be an active North Tahoe Collaborative Member. Any non-member submissions will not qualify for the contest, voting or prizes. If your business would like to participate in the lighting contest and you are not currently a North Tahoe Collaborative Member, please contact us at info@northtahoebusiness.org or (530) 546-9000 to become a North Tahoe Collaborative member.
- RESIDENTIAL: Residential entries must live within the NTBA District (Crystal Bay, Kings Beach, Tahoe Vista, and Carnelian Bay). Residential submissions outside of the NTBA District will not qualify for the contest, voting or prizes. For questions on eligibility of your residence location please contact us at info@northtahoebusiness.org or (530) 546-9000.

- One residential + business winner, selected by the Holiday Cheer Committee
- Martha May Whovier Award (best neighbor holiday decor) | $100 North Tahoe eGift Card
- One residential winner, selected by our Holiday Cheer Committee
- “Community’s Choice” Award (voted via social media ) | $100 North Tahoe eGift Card
- One residential + business winner, selected by community popular vote
All Residential and Business submissions, including photos, must be received on or before December 16, 2024. Email photos to info@northtahoebusiness.org. Homes and businesses submitted for the competition will be collectively judged by our Holiday Cheer Committee on December 20, 2024. Social media voting for Community’s Choice Awards will take place from December 18-20. All entries will be shared on Facebook and Instagram, and the community will vote by “liking.” Entries with the most social media “likes” will receive the Community’s Choice Awards. All winners will be announced on December 23, 2024 via social media and on the NTBA website.

NTBA has been working hard to bring some extra sparkle to downtown Kings Beach by lighting up over 80 streetlight poles just in time for the holidays!
A HUGE shoutout to the incredible James Busher of Lockwood Lightscapes! James dedicated countless hours carefully wrapping and securing each strand of lights to ensure every pole shines just right. Your dedication and attention to detail have truly brightened our community, and we are so grateful to have had the chance to collaborate with you!
