Sunset Snowshoe with Tahoe Adventure Company

Watch the sun cast a purple alpenglow onto the Sierra while trekking through Tahoe’s peaceful forest. Experience the solitude of winter at this special time of day while learning local natural and human history. Offered every Friday, December-April or by custom arrangement. No experience necessary. Trailheads are based on snow pack and the group’s activity level.

Cost: $70 per person with a 4 person minimum. If you are a single traveler, please call to see if there is a group to join!

Trip Includes: Snowshoes, poles, knowledgeable guides, natural history discussions, hot drinks, trail snacks, and permit fees.

Typical distance: 2-3 miles.

Level of difficulty: Easy. All abilities welcome age 8 years and up.

Location: North Shore, location is based upon snow conditions.

• Friday, March 15 ~ 4:30-7:30 pm
• Friday, March 22 through March 29 ~ 5:00-8:00 pm
• Fridays, April 5 through April 26 ~ 5:30-8:30 pm
