Mountain Area Preservation’s 13th Annual Sierra Forage Dinner
Tickets are selling fast, and we would hate for you to miss out on the 13th Annual Sierra Forage Dinner on Friday, August 18th, at the Stables in Olympic Valley. For the second year, we will return to the majestic valley floor of Olympic Valley, celebrating thirty-six years of grassroots environmental advocacy with great food, local music, exciting live auction items, and a mission worth showing up for!
Great Food: Locally Sourced, Organic, Multi-Course, Vegan Dinner by Noisettes
The Sierra Forage Dinner is centered around the ideology of good food shared by good people who give back to the environment and community! We are thrilled to feature a locally sourced and ethically curated vegan, organic menu prepared by the Sallah sisters of Noisettes. Michelle and Mary are a dynamic sister team, bringing culinary talent and passion for small-scale agriculture to tables in Tahoe.
Local Music: By Tahoe Musicians Sean Duerr & Kurt Beckering
Enjoy the cocktail hour and passed canapés while listening to Sean Duerr and Kurt Beckering play some Americana tunes to get you settled at the stables. The duo has decades of instrumental and vocal talent, playing in Tahoe bands such as Dead Winter Carpenters, No Deal, Rusty Strings, Tahoe Flow Art Rock Operas, and more! Enjoy a fun-filled evening of Americana and folk music in the majestic mountains while celebrating environmental advocacy, community, and good food!
Live Auction: One of the most FUN Fundraisers!
Support MAP’s mission by participating in the live auction or match and pledge at the Sierra Forage Dinner. This year, we plan to auction exciting recreational experiences, outdoor gear, travel adventures, and more! By bidding in the auction or supporting the MAP match at the dinner, guests are helping to fuel MAP’s priority advocacy campaigns to protect open space and advocate for responsible development. We can’t wait to share more about the auction and match as we get closer to the event with a sneak peek of our live auction items!
Great Cause: Advocating for the Environment and Community Since 1987.
Since our inception, MAP has worked tirelessly to advocate for the environment and community. Each year, with age, our track record for preservation and collaboration gets better, allowing MAP to continue the good fight. By attending the Sierra Forage Dinner, your donation is an investment in our mission and belief in grassroots advocacy for positive change.
