Kings Beach SnowFest Parade
The annual Kings Beach SnowFest Parade will take place on Saturday, March 9, 2023 from 11:30am-12:30pm in downtown Kings Beach. This fun-filled event brings over 1,800 spectators and features entries from over 30 local community organizations and businesses, featuring costumes, floats, and live music. Everyone is encouraged to spend the day in Kings Beach for SnowFest activities and events.
The small town, big time parade brings smiles and joy as it travels east on Highway 28 along the beautiful north shore of Lake Tahoe. The parade will start at Secline Street and end at Coon Street. The announcing stand and judges table will be next to the King Building near the Bear Street Roundabout.
Be advised that Hwy 28 will be closed from the intersection of Hwy 267 and east of Fox St. for the parade.
The Kings Beach SnowFest Parade is produced by the North Tahoe Business Association as part of SnowFest. Every spring since 1982, North Lake Tahoe comes alive with 10 fun-filled days and nights of mountain Mardi-Gras! Jam-packed with events and activities for all ages, this year’s SnowFest will bring back the annual favorites, along with a host of great new ones on and off the mountain. Join in the fun at North Tahoe’s award-winning resorts and stunning lakeside neighborhoods — there’s something for everyone.
