Kids Art Camp with North Tahoe Arts
Kids Art Camp 2018
Four, week-long day camps of art classes for kids ages 5-12
Kids Art Camp is a tradition during the summer at North Tahoe Arts, offering a hands-on art experience to elementary and middle school age youth. Local artists and instructors excel at teaching children the joy of ceramics, printmaking, painting, fiber art, earth art, book/journal making, jewelry, pastels, wire sculpture, and batik.
This popular alternative to sports camp teaches children new techniques in self-expression. The student/teacher ratio is small, insuring that the children receive the benefit of individual instruction in addition to the attention from volunteers who assist with the classes. Much of the camp takes place outdoors. Kids ages 5-12 will be instructed in different art projects by teachers and professional artists! Each week offers something different.
KAC is continuing its partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe. NTA will host two week-long Kids Art Camp sessions onsite at the Boys & Girls Club location in Kings Beach.
Cost is $150 per session for NTA Family Membership holders & $170 per session for non-members.
