Colors of Summer: Flowers and Anything Else that Attracts the Eye
Have you ever really stood back and noticed how colorful a natural landscape is? Of course you have! What if you had someone standing next to you that could explain what you are looking at from different types of flowers to identifying bird species and gender on a backdrop of trees and shrubs? Let us put the colors into perspective and join our dear friends at the Tahoe Institute for Natural Science on a guided hue hunt from Echo Summit to Benwood Meadow. Bring a lunch and your curiosity.
TRTA hikes are group hikes, and we do our best to keep the group together. All TRTA guides are volunteers who dedicate a great deal of their time throughout the year sharing their passion for the trail and the outdoors. They are well-trained and experienced so please respect their decisions they make on the trail.
