NTBA is beyond proud to announce Joe and Cris Hennessey as the Grand Marshals for the 2024 Kings Beach SNOWFEST Parade. Joe and Cris moved to Tahoe in March of 1995, and have been Kings Beach residents ever since. They have a daughter, Ella, who recently turned 18, and graduated, early, from North Tahoe High School. Cris is a trained Social Services Provider, and began her own translation business in 2006. Joe has been in the heating and air business since high school, and started Hennessey Heating & Air in 2006.
They both believe in volunteering in our community. Cris has served on NTRAC, Excellence in Education, YoungLife, Tahoe Safe Alliance (crisis line and board), and her church. She advocated for improvements in the Kings Beach grid to county agencies, with much success. She also has volunteered in the local schools as a parent. Currently she is on the Board of the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District. Joe has volunteered with NTBA, Tahoe Safe Alliance (Kids’ Time), and YoungLife. He’s also painted, more than his share, over graffitti within the KB community.
Joe and Cris are members of NTBA, and proudly sponsor Music on the Beach every summer. They love this community, and feel blessed and proud to raise their family here. Lastly, they are thankful to have grown a business in this community.
