Dear North Tahoe Business Association Members and Community Supporters,
I am excited and honored to join your organization as the new Executive Director. I want to thank everyone for your warm welcome so far.
I also want to thank Joy Doyle, NTBA staff & the board in helping me transition into this role over the new few weeks. We are working hard to get me up to speed and our focus currently is to make sure our upcoming event season is executed seamlessly. Following in Joy’s footsteps will not be easy, but with your input, participation and support we can be assured NTBA has a bright future in our next chapter.
I am proud to call Lake Tahoe my home as I was born and raised in South Lake Tahoe. Growing up, my family and I spent quality time in North Shore and I always felt what an incredibly special and unique community it is and knew that I wanted to be a part of this community in an impactful way. I am extremely passionate about having the opportunity to advance NTBA’s mission to improve economic vitality and quality of life in our communities in North Lake.
My set of professional experiences includes a unique background in business through the intercollegiate and professional sports industries. My business experiences lead me to creating, building and growing my own business in that industry as well as time working in the event and membership space for a private national firm. In these roles I was responsible for all activities including budget, financial management, membership recruitment and retention, new program development and implementation, event management, sales, sponsorships, marketing and fundraising.
I thank North Tahoe Business Association Board of Directors for this leadership opportunity. I recognize I have a lot to learn and I intend to invest time and attention to get to know and understand the NTBA culture, policies and procedures.
Lastly, we have a great staff team here at NTBA. We are all incredibly focused on the upcoming year beginning with our June 28th Music on the Beach event which is quickly followed by our July 3rd Fireworks shows. Feel free to reach out to any of us at any time; we are always happy to hear from you.
