The North Tahoe Public Utility District (NTPUD) continues to track the ever-changing circumstances of the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. On Friday, April 10, 2020, Placer County issued a new order that clarifies, strengthens, and extends the terms of the previous directive to reduce person-to-person contact and increase physical distancing in order to further slow transmission of COVID-19. The new order will be in effect through May 1, 2020.

In response to this Directive, the North Tahoe Regional Park, Tahoe Vista Recreation Area and the Kings Beach Little League Field are closed effective immediately. The gate at the North Tahoe Regional Park has been locked and the Little League field has been closed to use.

The District’s Administrative Offices and North Tahoe Event Center remain closed to the public however our staff will be working and available to assist you by phone (530) 546-4212 or by email at customerservice@ntpud.org during our normal business hours, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

The April 14, 2020, Board of Director’s meeting will take place via teleconference. Please check the agenda for the call-in number and the process for making public comment if you wish to participate.
