“The District is pleased to host this meeting to collect comments on behalf of Laulima Kings Beach Event Center, LLC on their initial design concept for the North Tahoe Event Center,” stated Loren Holt, Administrative Manager for the North Tahoe Public Utility District. “This is the opportunity to talk about what is being proposed for the building remodel and provides the community an opportunity to give some suggestions into the design.”
This meeting will begin moving the responsibility for the future of the Event Center, from the District over to Laulima Kings Beach Event Center, LLC as the terms of the Lease Agreement are implemented. As such, the comments may not influence the initial design concept to any degree or they may provide LKBEC with local insight on how the building is being used.
